ARTS-INTEGRATED CURRICULUM

Our Approach:
Arts integration is not an add-on: it’s the foundation of how we teach and learn. Our six full-time teaching artists collaborate with classroom teachers to co-plan, co-teach, and co-assess units that deepen understanding through creative expression.

What Arts Integration Looks Like:
In Math: Students create geometric sculptures while learning about angles, symmetry, and spatial reasoning
In Science: Students compose soundscapes to represent ecosystems or perform movement pieces to demonstrate understanding of systems and cycles
In Literacy: Students adapt novels into theatrical performances, analyzing character motivation and theme
In Social Studies: Students create documentary films, museum exhibits, or original music to explore historical events and perspectives
